Yamaha and Fabio Quartararo will continue together at least until 2026. The French rider, already a world champion with the brand, believes that growth is the path the team is taking, despite the current moment not being the best. Quartararo welcomes the changes that will come to MotoGP in three years.
Rider #20 is currently struggling with his Yamaha M1, far from the best machines on the grid, but he sees the team’s work being done and gradually some improvements emerging, as he told SPEEDWEEK.com, but he also doesn’t forget that the situation is far from ideal: ‘I feel that the bike is improving more and more. That gives me joy. Of course, I don’t like the current results, but this is a long process and there is still a long way to go’.
MotoGP will undergo a major overhaul after 2026, with many new rules and changes to the bike officially implemented, which is good, Quartararo believes: ‘2027 will be a good year for MotoGP’.
