Chase Sexton continues his winning streak and this weekend in Washougal he once again dominated in AMA Pro Motocross, with two more victories in two races, thus increasing his lead in the championship over Hunter Lawrence, who did not have the happiest day.
First race
Aaron Plessinger led the first 450MX race in Washougal, but a mistake on the last lap allowed Sexton to overtake him and claim the victory. Lawrence battled with Sexton for second place but crashed and finished fifth. Justin Cooper completed the podium in third place, after a heated battle with Jason Anderson.
Plessinger took the lead and quickly distanced himself from Cooper, while Lawrence and Anderson fought for third place. Lawrence briefly crashed but quickly recovered and pressured Anderson. Sexton, who had a bad start, gradually climbed up and reached Ferrandis in fifth place.
Sexton passed Ferrandis and quickly caught up to Lawrence and Anderson. Lawrence made a mistake and crashed, giving up second place to Sexton. Sexton then overtook Cooper and took the lead. Plessinger stopped his bike on the last lap, allowing Sexton to pass and win the race.
Second race
Sexton once again emerged victorious and extended his winning streak to seven consecutive races. The Red Bull KTM rider had to fight to reach the lead, after a poor start, but ended up dominating the race.
Lawrence a commencé en force, prenant la tête au premier virage, mais Jason Anderson est rapidement passé devant, avec Sexton juste derrière. Cooper est tombé tôt, laissant la porte ouverte à Sexton, qui n’a pas laissé passer l’opportunité.

Malcolm Stewart et Dylan Ferrandis ont livré une grande bataille pour la cinquième place, avec Ferrandis qui l’a emporté.
