Marc Márquez has always shown strength at Sachsenring over the years: despite not winning the German GP since 2021, he has achieved victories in all his participations since 2010. This is the next round on the calendar, and it could very well be the one where he obtains his first triumph with Ducati.
The Spanish rider from Gresini Racing has an impressive record at Sachsenring: after finishing 16th in 2009, when he was in the 125cc for the second consecutive season, he never missed a victory again. He won 11 consecutive races across 125cc, Moto2, and MotoGP.
In 2022 and 2023, injuries kept Márquez away from the German GP races. Now that he is fully recovered physically, the rider has returned to the top positions with the Gresini Ducati Desmosedici GP24.
This will be the first German GP he competes in MotoGP without a Honda RC213V. After three podium finishes, he is now looking for his first victory. Considering his performances at Sachsenring over the years, Germany could very well be the stage for this desired result by the rider and Gresini.
