During its first participation in a major African rally, the Aprilia Tuareg dominated, maintaining the first place in the classification for over six thousand kilometers. Thanks to Jacopo Cerutti, who arrived as the overall winner at the finish line of the Africa Eco Race 2024.
Aprilia once again challenged itself and emerged victorious among the desert dunes, on the same routes that launched legendary rallies. The victory in the Africa Eco Race marks a crucial milestone in the ambitious “Back to Africa” project, closing a season full of exciting successes.
Concluding the final stage ahead of the Botturi/Yamaha duo, direct rivals for the final victory, Jacopo Cerutti and the Aprilia Tuareg won the Africa Eco Race 2024. An absolute triumph, in a tough race with over six thousand kilometers of distance, always led by the Italian team. For Francesco Montanari, a true rookie, finishing the race in Dakar was a fantastic result. He added to that two podium finishes in as many stages and a fabulous eighth place overall. Together, they dominated and wrote one of the most epic pages in the recent history of major African rallies.
