Jett Lawrence is in very good shape and after winning the title in the AMA Supercross 450, he is giving his all in the 450MX, a competition outside of the country. After the title won in 2023, in his debut year, the Australian continues to show a very strong performance and has achieved the second double victory of the season in High Point.
In Mount Morris, Pennsylvania, for the fourth round of the championship, the Honda rider achieved the second double and has a total of five victories… in eight races and couldn’t be happier. Reflecting on his performance, he first remembered one of his main rivals: ‘Chase [Sexton] had some good lines and it was a shame to see him fall – that was his race, for sure’.
Despite not feeling at his best level, still in pain after falling in the second round of the championship, in Hangtown, that didn’t stop him from being at a very high level:
– I didn’t feel as good and my shoulder was somewhat fatigued. We were struggling a bit, but I had some luck. It was good to get the overall win, and now we move on to the break – it’s much needed.
The rider, due to the fall suffered in Hangtown, did not score in one of the races, and is third in the championship with two points less than Sexton, while Hunter Lawrence is leading.
